Biography

I have been involved in photography since childhood when my father gifted me my first manual SLR camera. I view the art of photography as a subtractive process, where reality is distilled into a personal vision. As such, I often use modern photography tools, such as different film stocks, filters, and digital enhancement, to capture the emotions I felt when I tripped the camera's shutter.

 

Two of my great passions in life are travel and photography. I believe that travel broadens one's view of the world. Experiencing other cultures, meeting people from different communities and countries, and seeing the world's beauty - and sometimes ugliness - has helped me understand that all of our lives are interconnected and individual. It has made me appreciate my own home and culture, as well as that of the people I've met and the lands I've seen. I have become a much more tolerant person as a result. Through my photography, I seek to document my own personal experiences, capture scenes and events as I see them, and share with others the beauty and diversity of the world I've seen. As other photographers' images have inspired me to explore the world, I hope my contributions will inspire others to do the same.

 

In 2004, I built a personal virtual gallery on the internet to share with family and friends. I was surprised when I received my first request for a print from a stranger who had stumbled upon my website. Thus, a serious hobby began to transform into a business.

 

Since then, I have been fortunate enough to turn my passion for photography into a successful career. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. My work has been featured in various publications and exhibitions, and I have won several awards for my photography.

 

One of the things that set me apart as a photographer is my ability to connect with people and understand their unique needs. Whether working on a portrait, a product shoot, or a travel assignment, my goal is always to create images that tell a story and capture the essence of my subject. I believe that great photography is not just about technical skill but also about empathy, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the world around us.
